Dear Markus, Sylvia and family, This morning the most stunning 1920 Gamage wooden reel arrived. I am truly at a loss for words, for since the very first time I found your lovely website a few months ago and we have shared emails, not only have I found you are the most efficient and incredibly knowledgable people I have ever known in this delightful world of vintage and antique tackle, I have also discovered you are both the most genuine and caring people it has been my fortune to meet. You have spared no trouble and attention regarding the reel, when all you really needed have done was to have posted it, but as I insisted there was no rush, you took the time to take extensive photographs from all angles, and cleaned and treated the reel in the manner befitting such a precious antique such as this. It is an utterly exquisite reel and I shall take the greatest pride in using it with one or two old cane rods, and especially one in particular I had specifically made in tribute to my wonderful father Doug who sadly passed away three years ago and my beloved American Cocker spaniel Bunny who also sadly passed away recently. Fishing to me is far more than just catching fish, it is a love to share and to remember wonderful times with good friends. I thank the day the day by pure chance I found your website, as by so doing, I have now made some very dear friends, and it is an absolute treat to return to your website on a daily basis to look through the pages and know that shortly I can maybe find something else that takes my eye. I shall be using the Gamage reel for some nice floatfishing with old traditional bird quill floats for my favourite species, the perch, and hopefully before long, I ll send along some photographs. Again, I cannot thankyou enough.

I am very pleased with the purchase of  a fine elderly Nottingham reel - perfectly suited for fitting my Hardy Brothers 16" splitcane from the early thirties for which it was originally intended.

Tja, wie bewertet man das Unfassbare, ewig erträumte Unglaubliche??? In einer Welt voller betrügerischer Klischees gibt es tatsächlich noch Firmeninhaber, die Ihren persönlichen Traum nicht nur leben, sondern Ihn auch geschäftlich mit unglaublichem Feingefühl, subtilster Einfühlung und gediegener Seriosität verwirklichen. Wer es nicht glaubt: Einfach testen!!!

Ich wollte eine Thebault-Seidenschnur bestellen und habe diesen Shop im Internet entdeckt. Ich habe zuvor per Email angefragt, da ich eine WF-Schnur erwerben wollte, die bei Seidenschnüren nicht so gebräuchlich ist. Ich bekam umgehend (!) eine äußerst nette Antwort. Die Schnur sei zwar nicht am Lager, könne aber für mich (einzeln!!) bestellt werden (von einem Extraporto war nicht die Rede). Da ich die Schnur gern in meinen Urlaub mitnehmen und ausprobieren wollte, erkundigte man sich telefonisch, ob die Schnur in Frankreich am Lager sei und bestellte dann direkt für mich. Etwa gut eine Woche später hielt ich dann meine faszinierende Seidenschnur (in D) in den Händen!!! Ich fettete sie wie angegeben und dabei fiel mir eine Verdickung auf, die wahrscheinlich durch das Knüpfen absolut normal und nicht vermeidbar ist, die ich aber nicht einordnen konnte. Wieder kontaktierte ich Piscatoriana. Aus der Ferne war natürlich keine Diagnose möglich. Drei Tage später hielt ich eine neue Schnur in Händen und habe die erste nur zurücksenden brauchen!!!!! Nun kann ich doch noch mit einer Thebault-Seidenschnur im Urlaub fischen. Es bleibt mir nur zu sagen, ich bin begeistert! Piscatoriana ist ein absolut empfehlenswerter, genialer Shop bzw. Händler, der Fachkompetenz, Service, Freundlichkeit und Kundenorientiertheit sehr sehr groß schreibt. Weiter so!

Erneut prompte Abwicklung des Kaufes. Die gelieferte Ware ist in gutem Zustand und entspricht absolut dem Beschrieb. Danke.

Im Sinne einer Qualitätskontrolle erscheint es mir wichtig festzuhalten, dass ich sowohl mit den Kontaktnahmen, der Lieferung wie natürlich auch mit den Produkten selbst sehr zufrieden bin. Was mir besonders imponierte, war die umgehende Lieferung nach Zahlungseingang - hier beobachte ich bei anderen Unternehmen desöfteren offensichtlich unnötig lange Spannen.
